Jeremy L. Allen has over 15 years of hospitality industry experience through operations, appraisal and investment advisory positions. His industry involvement includes both brokerage and consulting for hotel, resort, conference center, sustainable hospitality and mixed-use properties around the globe.
Mr. Allen is a past speaker at the 2010 Lodging Conference held in Phoenix, AZ and formerly managed hospitality investment advisory for Molinaro Koger’s Phoenix office. He has held both operational and corporate positions with firms such as Marriott International, P.F. Changs, Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Hospitality Advisors and Marcus & Millichap. Mr. Allen is the co-founder of Green Lodge, a green hotel research and certification group ,and is on the board of directors for Allen & Associates Appraisal Group.
Mr. Allen is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Arizona and a Candidate for MAI Designation with the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Allen received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Laurence G. Allen MAI, MRICS Principal
Laurence G. Allen, MAI, MRICS has performed more than 3,000 appraisal and consulting assignments for a variety of property types throughout the country. His experience includes the appraisal and feasibility analysis for a wide variety of hospitality property types as well as commercial, industrial and multi-family properties for mortgage financing, property tax and litigation.
Mr. Allen has written a number of articles in the Appraisal Journal and other major real estate publications. Mr. Allen taught courses on real estate appraisal at the University of Michigan and was a guest lecturer on real estate appraisal there and at the Michigan State University School of Business Administration graduate program.
Mr. Allen is a licensed real estate broker and a state-certified real estate appraiser in Michigan, Indiana, Georgia and Virginia. He holds the MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute and the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation with the CFA Institute. Mr. Allen has been elected a professional member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He received his bachelor’s degree with honors from Linfield College and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
